Day 2

Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga:

After breakfast, we will continue our journey towards the desert, following a road once used by commercial caravans crossing the Anti Atlas of Tafilalet Valley to reach the Valley of Draa. Here, we will witness landscapes with vibrant ocher, red, mauve, and black desert Hamadas, surrounded by rocky plateaus where camels graze.

The desert adventure will be filled with stunning landscapes, oases, and palm trees as we make our way to Rissani. We’ll stop at its famous market to enjoy a refreshing mint tea before continuing the desert route towards the Erg Chebbi dunes.

Upon arrival at the camp, we’ll have some time to relax before embarking on a thrilling camel ride through the sand dunes of Erg-Chebbi, where we’ll witness a breathtaking sunset.

Day 3

Merzouga – Rissani – Zagora:

Departing from Merzouga, we will head towards Zagora, taking an off-road route that passes through M’haresh oasis. We will have lunch at an inn amidst the desert landscape.

Afterward, we will continue towards the fascinating village of Tamegroute, renowned for its underground kasbahs, pottery, ceramics, and a splendid library dating back to the 17th century. The library preserves illuminated manuscripts of the Quran, written on the skin of gazelles, along with historical and medical works.

The night will be spent at the hotel Kasbah in Zagora.

Day 4

Zagora – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech:

Return to Marrakech by Ait Ben Haddou while crossing the valley of Daraa (to make stops to take photographs of the palm plantation and the Kasbahs). Visit the widespread Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou Kasbah as it has been named by Unesco in 1987.

Ait Benhaddou is the World Heritage site that has been utilized as a setting for more than 20 movies incorporating “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. Revel in a stroll to investigate the universal Moroccan style of construction modeling in which the Kasbahs are constructed.
